In the wake of his death, the Saint sacrificed herself to raise a circle of mountains to protect humanity from the horrors born from the Wyrmveil– a corruption that twists the innocent into monsters. Within the protection of the Saint’s Circle, twin kingdoms rose sheltering the last of humanity.

When Hiraeth’s father falls victim to corruption she must find the source of the corruption before it spreads.

However, humans and the fae begin to clash as tensions rise as fear spreads. The Rites of Kings must endure to maintain that fragile balance between people. There are those who seek to destroy the rites to gain power.
